“Between Me and God” Not a Diss Song. – King Paluta

Ghanaian musician Thomas Adjei Wireko, professionally known as King Paluta has broken his silence following widespread speculation that his latest single, Between Me and God, is a diss track aimed at his critics.

The musician came under fire recently after a video surfaced online showing him in a heated moment with a fan during a live performance in the UK. The incident sparked backlash, with many entertainment pundits and fans describing his reaction as arrogant and disrespectful.

In the wake of the controversy, King Paluta released a new song that many interpreted as a direct response to the criticism. Some listeners claimed the lyrics carried an aggressive tone and targeted those who had condemned his behavior.

However, the Yahitte hitmaker took to social media on July 15, 2025, to address the growing assumptions. In a brief post on Twitter, he denied that the track was meant to throw shots at anyone.

“Not a diss… Just pure vibes,” he caption a video of the song, suggesting that the song was simply a creative expression and not a response to his recent backlash.

Despite the clarification, public reactions remain mixed. A number of social media users are still calling on the rapper to apologize for what they describe as an unwarranted insult to a fan during the UK show.
