Ghanaian rap legend Sarkodie has officially announced that his flagship Rapperholic Concert will make its debut in Kumasi on September 27, 2025.

Sharing the news via Instagram the multiple award-winning artist wrote, “It’s Official #RapperholicTheHomeComing. This year we bring my people in Oseikrom a treat! 27th September. Tickets out this Friday, 25 July!!! I’m gassed up ,” alongside the official event artwork.

As part of preparations for the event, Sarkodie and his team paid a courtesy visit to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace last week. The visit was to formally inform the King of the concert and seek his blessing. In response, the Asantehene welcomed the initiative and expressed his willingness to attend the highly anticipated show.

With this homecoming edition, Sarkodie is expected to deliver a memorable night of music and culture in the Ashanti Region’s capital. Fans in Oseikrom and beyond are eagerly counting down to secure their tickets for what promises to be a historic experience with Africa’s most celebrated rapper.
